In the fall of 2022, my husband and second shooter and I headed to Beldenville, Wisconsin to Barns of Lost Creek for Ally and Zach’s wedding. The forecast called for rain and had me on edge for most of the day. Despite the looming forecast, we managed to make it through our timeline without being affected by the downpours that made their way through the venue property a few times that day.

It was a leisurely start to the day. Ally and her bridesmaids got ready together in the bridal suite and Zach got ready amongst his friends. We loved getting to explore the venue and capture the details. Every part of the Barns of Lost Creek is filled with a vintage charm that would make any antiquer swoon. The barn itself has a fun variety of antique chairs, mirrors, and lighting to create a unique, tasteful character.

My husband especially appreciated the balance of their landscaping. A native plant enthusiast, he pointed out that they had many pollinator-friendly plants mixed in with other varieties of plants. It made for a variety of refined backdrops throughout the property.

We were entertained in the early part of the day by the chickens that wandered around. When Ally and her son got ready to take a picture, one of them walked right up to them to check them out making fun memories for everyone involved.

The rain held off until after the ceremony. As guests grabbed their drinks and made their way to the dining space, a storm rolled through creating the ultimate experience as the rain pitter-pattered on the metal rooftop and cleared just in time for us to head outside for their dark and moody golden hour photos.

The end of the night was spent back in the barn with a super fun dance party that was perfect for all the kids to enjoy.
