I attended my first ever styled shoot this month and it was everything I hoped it would be. The venue is one that I’ve long admired located north of the Twin Cities Metro area. Pinewood Weddings and Events is nestled among a gorgeous pine plantation in rural Minnesota. The venue boasts views that are absolutely breathtaking whether you are inside or outside. Styled shoots are a pretty cool thing for wedding photographers to be a part of. It is always great to collaborate with other wedding vendors and this was one of those opportunities that included some of my favorites.
The shoot was hosted by the amazingly talented Kyndal Goeders of Kyndal Elise Photo. Kyndal plans styled shoots and workshops through her business, Heartland Muse, and did a wonderful job coordinating and designing this event with some stellar vendors.
Florals were designed by Lilia Flower Boutique which I was especially pumped for because they will be designing the florals for my own wedding. I will forever be in awe of the work their team created for this day. All of the floral arrangements blended nicely with the vibe that Kyndal had for the event and the overall look was completed with some furnishings by Style Society.
The models were two amazing couples (Clara + Peter and Emily + Aamon) who were so fun to work with. Their looks were pulled together by Birdy Tulip Co., Hello Darlin’ Glam, Opal and June, Lulus, and Asos.
With this amazing team of vendors, it’s hard not to feel the creativity flowing during a styled shoot and it didn’t stop with those behind the scenes. It was such a great time to collaborate with other photographers throughout the shoot.
I left for the day feeling so fulfilled and excited to share photos with everyone who follows along on this journey.
